This walk will took place over three days and covered the length of the Grand Union Canal starting in Brentford, West London and culminated in Birmingham - a total of 137 miles at a rate of just over 45 miles per day. The dates being 8th, 9th and 10th October. The walkers were Andy Grace and Andy Booth with every penny going to the charity to assist in fostering abused and homeless animals, vet fees and temporary accomodation. This will also brought much needed assistance to the tireless volunteers who devote their time rescuing, caring for and finding new homes for this most delightful of breeed that are sadly one of the most abused animals in the UK.
